SPANISH FOR GRINGOS

It's been a long time since we've spoken Spanish (high school, to be exact). It's been a trial by fire as we navigate our new world - ordering food at restaurants, filling our car at the gas station, asking for directions, going to the bank - you name it. Every exchange is filled with peril. With the help of Youtube, Duolingo and other digital resources, our Spanish is improving incrementally.

In the meanwhile, we've compiled a list of Spanish words (some specifically Tico) that you may want to become familiar with should you decide to visit (or move here permanently!).
